Time to Connect with Christ.
  • Find the Camp Program for You

We’re excited to share that Lutherhill’s summer camp programs are now organized by ages instead of grade completed. You’ll notice that the age ranges overlap—this is intentional! We know every child is unique, and this overlap gives you the flexibility to choose the program that best fits your camper’s interests, maturity, and comfort level.

At Lutherhill, we trust parents and caregivers to know their children best, and we’re glad to offer you the opportunity to select the camp experience that’s right for them.

As your camper grows so do the activities available to your camper. We believe in having a program that meets the developmental needs and abilities of campers and encourages physical, spiritual, and emotional growth.

    CAMPER PROGRAM PROGRESSION

    Alphas
Our youngest campers, Alphas (ages 6-7) get to enjoy the experience of camp and spend time away from home for half of a week (3-night stay). Alphas experience the quintessential camp experience complete with campfire & s’mores.

    Youngns
Youngns (ages 7-9) get to continue the fun and experience the best week ever!

    Yearlings
Yearlings (ages 9-12) stay for the full week, are given the opportunity to spend the night at Outcamp in our treehouse village and challenge themselves on the giant swing.

    Jr. High Camp
Jr. High Camp (ages 12-14) stay for the full week, are given the opportunity to spend the night at Outcamp in our treehouse village and challenge themselves on the full ropes course and night swing.

    Jr. High Connect
Jr. High Connect campers (ages 12-14) stay 2 full weeks at camp. This program connects two Jr. High programs – Jr. High Camp or Jr. High Expedition and Beach Camp with a weekend stay at Lutherhill. The weekend will include activities and community time.

    Sr. High Camp
Sr. High Camp (ages 14 and up) is where faith, friendship, and leadership meet adventure. High school campers dive deeper into Bible study, take on leadership roles within the camp community, and push their limits with high ropes and outdoor adventures.

    LYLE
LYLE (LYLE 1: ages 14 and up; LYLE 2: ages 15 and up OR completed LYLE 1) stay for two weeks, spend the night at Outcamp in our treehouse village, challenge themselves on the full ropes course and spend intentional time in leadership development.

    Adventure & Expedition Programs
The Sr. High Adventure program and Jr. High Expedition program let campers experience the best of Lutherhill while also traveling off-site for exciting adventures and meaningful service opportunities. Jr. High programs go on day trips, Sr. High programs stay off-site overnight.

    Onsite Day Camp
Onsite Day Camp is held at Lutherhill in La Grange for ages 6 to 12! Campers experience action packed days of camp life just like our overnight campers complete with their own counselors.

    • You and your happy camper will then head to their assigned cabin where you will meet their counselor and help your camper get settled inside.
    • Once settled, Lutherhill has some fun activities for the campers to do while the rest of their cabinmates arrive!
**MEDICATIONS: Medications must be brought in their original bottle/container. Please place all meds per camper in a gallon ziploc bag.

Drop-off for Onsite Day Campers is 8am and pick-up is between 5 and 5:15p.

    FULLY ENGAGED CAMPERS
We know life exists beyond camp and the need may arise for you to pick-up your happy camper mid-week. This can make it hard for campers to fully engage in the camp community. If early pick-up is unavoidable, please contact us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

  • Camper Mail & Photos

BUNK1: Lutherhill’s online mail and photo site! With Bunk1, you can view photos online for free and buy credits to send emails to your camper.
Every camper family receives 5 FREE Bunk Note credits! You can choose to upgrade to a bundle that includes photo tagging and additional credits to enhance your notes with borders, photos, puzzles, and more.
Here is how to set it up:
    – Go to the BUNK1 website
    – Click on “Register Now”
    – Enter the pre-approved Passcode (camper parents will receive the passcode in an email prior to camp and at Sunday registration)
    – Once registered, sign in and click on Photo Gallery, Image Folder. Enjoy!

BRING MAIL: Bring camper letters & packages to registration and drop-off in the designated area. Make sure your Camper Name, Cabin Number and Delivery Day are clearly marked on each piece of mail.(You’ll learn the cabin number at Sunday registration.)

SEND MAIL: You can send mail during the week to: Camper Name, Lutherhill, 3782 Luther Hill Rd, La Grange, TX 78945. Make sure to drop your notes in the mail EARLY to make sure it gets to camp in time!

MAIL DELIVERY AT CAMP: We will print emails from Bunk1 Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and the campers will receive the message at lunch that day. You will only receive a reply from your camper once they write the note on the Bunk Reply stationary and turn it in to the camp office. Some campers will not write a response immediately and some may not write at all. Please be patient! Bunk1 offers an option to purchase Bunk Reply stationary once you register.

PRO TIP! To increase the likelihood that your happy camper will send a note home, make sure to pack pre-addressed, stamped envelopes in their luggage.

  • Happy Healthy Campers

Food Service: Our food service staff works diligently to provide hearty, healthy meals for every camper. If your happy camper has a dietary restriction or allergies, please include this information on your camper’s online health form (during registration). For extreme allergies or extenuating circumstances, please contact us at office@lutherhill.org.

Health Care: A Health Care Manager is onsite 24 hours a day to care for the medical needs of campers. This includes distributing all prescription and over-the-counter medications.

Medications at Camp: All medications must be turned into the Health Care Team at registration. Bring medication in original packaging, sealed in a resealable (ziploc) bag labeled with your camper’s name.

Emergency Care & Physician Visits: If your camper needs to visit the physician or hospital during their week, we will notify you immediately and ensure proper treatment. Any co-payments incurred will be billed to you.

    • During the week, some Villages (groups of 2 or 3 cabins) choose to spend a night at Outcamp—a camper favorite! Outcamp is a one-of-a-kind overnight experience where campers sleep under the stars in treehouses (raised, covered platforms) or hammocks nestled in the trees. It’s a great chance to connect with nature, try something new, and make unforgettable memories. If your camper is bringing twin sheets for their cabin bunk, we recommend also packing a sleeping bag or other outdoor sleeping gear for Outcamp. If you don’t have outdoor gear, no worries—Lutherhill will make sure your camper has everything they need to have a safe and comfortable night outdoors!

  • Camp Store

Campers have the chance to visit the camp store during the week with their cabin. Items range in price from $2 to about $35. Items from our canteen (sodas, candy and snacks) are included in your registration fee, so no need to send extra money for this! Lutherhill uses our registration system’s Point of Sale software for the store, which means you can add funds during registration or at anytime leading up to your camper’s time at Lutherhill. Please add funds to your camper’s account by Monday of your camper’s week at Noon! You can also check their store balance at any time through Campwise.

You may also use our online storefront to pre-order items to be picked-up on Sunday or delivered to your camper during the week (be sure to include your campers name and cabin if possible in the comments section when checking out!). Please be sure to make online purchases by Wednesday at 5p to ensure delivery before camp concludes. The store will also be open when you pick up your camper on Fridays (and on Wednesdays for Alpha camper pick-up).
